Well, we're moving at last.  So, when we get to the old house later today (Allie, mom, and I spent the night at Oma's since we came up to find out if we could get the keys for the new house yet...so far haven't gotten them), I have no doubt we'll be very busy finishing packing what little we haven't as well as doing that tomorrow.

Then, Sunday is Christmas Day.  Mom already told me she won't take me to church. :(  We've been out of town far too often the past few months for me to go and when I'd ask, she never would take me.  I want to hear Pastor's sermons again on Isaiah in the morning and whatever series he may be on for the evening service one last time.  I want to be able to say good-bye to everyone, say congratulations to Renee in person. (She got engaged recently.)  But, I suppose I won't be able to do so, unfortunately.  I wish I had my lisence.  Then, I could have perhaps been able to go more often.

I'm going to start working on a letter to write them on Wednesday or whenever we finally are settled in enough that such things are possible to have time made for them.   So, I guess I'll have to say all that in a letter instead of in person.

Lord willing, I'll be able to come down and visit sometimes once I get my lisence (or before if mom allows me to stay the night at Renee's or something before that).  I'll miss everyone and mostly the strong preaching from Pastor Brandenburg.  He never was afraid to preach the truth, never afraid that people may be offended.  He stood for what was right.

I'm praying that God will help me find a church up here to go to.  Dad doesn't always find the best churches, and I doubt he'll ever find one he wants to go to.  He'll probably after trying one decide to keep with listening to sermons on sermonaudio.com.  Lord willing, that won't be the case.  I miss the days when the family would go to church, not just me.  I miss when I was able to go every service.  But, I know the Lord will provide and help us find one if He so wills (and I would believe He does).

Well, I've got to get some things done before we leave Oma's house.  It may be a while before I update again (unless mom drops us off at Oma's so we don't have to keep going back and forth on Monday).

Well, I'm back.

Two more weeks of school.  A lot to do before the end.  Finish getting ready for the school drama, keep trying to figure out how to survive on four hours of sleep and with liver pain, prepare for the band section of the drama, prepare for the choir section of the drama, homework, finals, homework, report...

Anyway, so that's about all I've got to do.

Applied at Target the other day.  Lord willing, that will work out.  Now, to finish homework...

I've been MIA for a long while, haven't I?  Hm, life's been going well.  Got school competitions coming up on March 18th, so I started a quilt for the home ec. competition.  Then, I'll bake a cheesecake for the other home ec. competition.  I'm going to play clarinet and sing, and I'll enter art as well as the required stuff (spelling, Bible, etc.).

The foot that was operated on has been hurting really badly, so I need to see the podiatrist about that.

Mom's quitting her job at the end of the month, praise the LORD!  I am so looking forward to leaving school before six.  Well, got to finish chemistry now.
